Structure、Characteristics And Pressure of Dust Exhausting Centrifugal Fan

Dust exhausting centrifugal fan has the characteristics of large air volume, high wind pressure, 

not easy to accumulate dust, wear resistance, long service life and so on. 

It is very popular with dust discharge customers. The centrifugal fan is suitable for discharging 

air mixture containing wood debris, fiber and dust. Such as furniture factory, woodworking factory, 

cement factory, etc.

There are two kinds of air outlet directions of dust exhausting fan: right rotation and left rotation.

Look from the motor side,if the impeller rotates clockwise, it is called right rotation. 

It is represented by "right". If it rotates counterclockwise, it is called left rotation. 

It is represented by "left".

 

Air Discharge Angle :

The outlet position of fan is indicated by the outlet angle of the casing. 

"Left" and "Right" can be made into 0 degree,45 degree, 90 degree, 135 degree, 180 degree and 225 degree.

 

Structure :

The fan is mainly composed of impeller, casing, air inlet, transmission group, etc.

1. Impeller: there are 10 backward inclined arc blades, which are welded between the arc cone 

wheel cover and the flat wheel disc.

After static and dynamic balance correction, the operation is stable.

2. Casing: welded with ordinary steel plate to form a whole volute shell.

3. Air inlet: it shall be made into a converging streamlined overall structure and fixed on the inlet side 

of the casing with bolts.

4. Transmission group: composed of main shaft, bearing box, pulley, etc. The main shaft is made of 

high-quality steel, and the bearing box has an overall structure. 

The rolling bearing is used and lubricated with grease.

 

Pressure:

According to the principle of converting kinetic energy into potential energy, the centrifugal fan uses 

the high-speed rotating impeller to accelerate the gas, then decelerate and change the flow direction, 

so that the kinetic energy can be converted into potential energy (pressure). 

In a single-stage centrifugal fan, the gas enters the impeller from the axial direction, changes to the 

radial direction when flowing through the impeller, and then enters the diffuser.

In the diffuser, the flow direction of the gas changes and the cross-section area of the pipe increases, 

which makes the air flow decelerate. This decelerating effect transforms the kinetic energy into the 

pressure energy. The increase of pressure mainly occurs in the impeller, followed by the expansion process. 

In the multistage centrifugal fan, the air flow is sent into the next impeller with a reflux device to produce higher pressure.
